The January transfer window just shut, with Arsenal breaking club transfer record Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang but that doesn’t stop speculation on future summer signings.
The following reports from the Evening Standard.
The first rumor is about Bordeaux Winger Malcom. Evening standard reports that arsenal could renew their interest on signing the Brazilian prospect in the summer.
Malcom was thought of as a potential Alexis Sanchez replacement, but the deal never got over the line due to a number of factors including Boudreaux’s relegation fight, their asking price and the inexperience of the player.
The most interesting name mentioned in the report is Atletico Madrid’s goal keeper Jan Oblak. Oblak’s name seems to be a popular one for teams that are in need of a new goal keeper in the summer with Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool also rumored to be watching him.
Rounding out the rehashing of January rumors are centerbacks Jonny Evans and Kostas Manolas. Evans reportedly has a release clause of £3 million if West Brom are relegated, and Roma could be facing Financial Fair Play issues and may need to balance their books with player sales.
