It seems like we were just here, having a match. Welcome to December, when matches happen pretty much every day or so it seems! Today’s opponent is Manchester United, who are in a bit of a bother right now; they barely earned a point at Southampton at the weekend, most of their defenders are injured, and, well, Jose Mourinho’s the boss.
While trips to Old Trafford generally make me nervous, and while Arsenal haven’t won a league game at Old Trafford in over a decade, this is an Arsenal team that is as well positioned as any to break that streak. They’re in relatively good health, they should be full of confidence after thumping Spurs at the weekend, and they haven’t lost in 19 games.
Let’s make it 20.
