Happy Friday again! As I write this, actually, it’s Thursday and I’m taking a little break from the current overwhelming insanity of my job to bash this out before heading home to watch the Timbers game tonight.
As I was sitting here thinking about what to open thread about this week, I’m idly eating some mini-pretzels. So let’s talk about snacks! I’m generally not a huge snacker - I try to eat reasonably well when I eat meals, and in enough quantity that I don’t get hungry between meals. But some days, as we all know, that’s not totally possible, so the occasional snack does happen.
When I snack, I don’t really crave sweets - pretzels are pretty good, or like Wheat Thins or some sort of cracker. I do like sweets - I can’t be within five miles of an open bag of those little individual Reese’s peanut butter cups or I will destroy them all in about five seconds, cookie-monster style - but I generally will snack on pretzels or a crunchy granola bar or something like that.
