Arsenal’s 5-1 victory over Fulham was a thing of beauty, which featured an impressive team performance. Both Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored twice and the Gunners won their ninth straight match overall.

Each goal was special, but an Aaron Ramsey back heel put the finishing touches on what might be the goal of the season.

The Welshman came on as a substitute in the 67th minute and was on the score sheet just 39 seconds later. From start to finish this was a goal unlike any other. The game commentators summed it up perfectly, “that is a goal that the Harlem Globetrotters would be proud of.” From start to finish there were 15 touches by Arsenal before the goal found the back of the net. Here’s how the Telegraph called it,

Ramsey starts it from miles back with a little flick, Hector Bellerin sends the ball on with a back heel. Arsenal pour forward, Mkhitaryan joins in the move as he feeds it out to Aubameyang who crosses low from the left... and then here’s Ramsey again to finish it off with a cute, elegant backheel finish. That’s the Arsenal at their very best and you won’t see a more attractive goal all year.

The reaction from fans on Twitter was insane. Here’s a sampling:

Questions will yet again be raised regarding Ramsey’s on again off again contract situation with the club. With recent reports circulating that Arsenal have withdrawn its most recent offer, fans will be asking if that is a smart move. Stay tuned to see if this situation changes.

In the meantime, enjoy a goal that fans will be talking about for a long time.
