Arsenal at Crystal Palace match thread: not a win streak title

I will not write about the win streak. I will not write about the win streak. I will not write about the win streak.

The best thing about watching Arsenal the past 4 or 5 games, at least for me, hasn’t been the winning (although I’m not going to lie, that’s really nice too). It’s been that the Gunners are playing attractive football and scoring stunningly beautiful goals. It’s fun to watch Arsenal bang in a wondergoal and text a mate “Did you see that?!” And for me, that’s a big part of watching sports - having fun.

Brandon talked about it in his excellent preview - perhaps the biggest thing the club needed was refreshment, a new voice, and some different ideas. Whatever the reason, things appear to be changing for the better. It’s great to watch Lacazette and Aubameyang celebrate goals together regardless of who actually got them, the tweet below was one of the most interacted with in recent TSF twitter, there’s a positive buzz around the club.

One of these days, Arsenal are going to lose again. It could be today against Crystal Palace. It hopefully won’t be. It probably won’t be. But it will come. When it does, let’s remember to keep having fun watching the Arsenal.

Lineups posted when available.
