Remember when we all thought Arsenal didn’t do a lot of business in the January window? Remember when Arsene didn’t like this window? That’s two narratives destroyed today. With the busiest January transfer window any of us can probably remember finally coming to a close, we put together a handy list of Arsenal’s transfer activity this month.

You can click on each player’s name for more information about the move.

Hey guess what? This is what a squad rebuild looks like. Or at least stage one of a rebuild - it’s hard to do a wholesale rebuild in January, but it’s definitely a first step along that path. We saw Arsenal sell multiple players (some to Premier League rivals), we saw a club-record signing, and we saw a beloved Frenchman move to a different London club, yet all of those moves pale in comparison to today’s news that Mesut Ozil has signed a contract extension.

We will have much more on “What Does All This Mean” in the days to come, but for now, that’s a wrap for the moves the club made. It’s only about five months until the real fun starts again; in the meantime, we’ll have to settle for watching Arsenal.
