At the beginning of the season, it looked to be the year of The JEFF. Jeff Reine-Adelaide had already flashed some skill in previous youth appearances and, with some impressive showings in the pre-season, a first team call up seemed to be on the cards. However, a few injury problems and inconsistent form has fully derailed that progression.
While Arsenal have other young breakthroughs, in the likes of Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Reiss Nelson, the potential of the JEFF still rates highly at the club. In that vein, it appears they found a home for him to work his trade, announcing a loan to Ligue 1 side Angers today.

Angers currently sit 16th, mired in the relegation battle, and that will hopefully find plenty of time for the young attack-minded winger to regain form and return to Arsenal ready for the a 1st team breakthrough.
