After claiming that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could be involved for Borussia Dortmund’s match against Hertha Berlin, the 28-year old Arsenal target has now been left out of the matchday squad.
"Aubameyang trains in Dortmund. We have the impression his mind is occupied with other things so it begs the question whether he can help us in Berlin (on Friday)"https://t.co/zxS1iLI0IP

Much like Alexis Sánchez last weekend, the potential of a move has obviously unsettled Aubameyang, and Dortmund have reacted in kind. Aubameyang, of course, missed last week’s match through club suspension, but had apparently been on-time to training this week, and had trained well, leading to an impression that he would be involved on Friday.
This could mean that the clubs are on the verge of completing a deal, and Aubameyang has been widely reported to have agreed personal terms with Arsenal. But like with Sánchez, just because a player is not involved does not mean the transfer is about to be completed; there are still a number of parts to agree, namely, transfer fee, and whether it’ll be a move that includes a player going the other way, with Olivier Giroud mentioned as a potential Dortmund target.
This does seem to confirm a concrete interest in Aubameyang from Arsenal, and interest from Aubameyang in moving to Arsenal, but a conclusion still seems a ways off.
