Highbury Social: The week in Arsenal social media

2018 is off to a rough start, socially speaking.

2018 has not gotten off to the hottest start for the Arsenal Football Club. There won’t be any new Premier League trophies this season or FA Cup trophies for that matter. The importance of player contracts seem to have been thrown out the window. Heck, we may not even have a gaffer after this season. But, just like in 2017 when the internet was undefeated, we expect 2018 to be the same, especially in the Arsenal twittersphere. And with that, we proudly present the first social media round up of 2018

First off, a new signing!

Yet to win a match in 2018, Arsenal have posted the following results:

Jack Wilshere scored this lovely goal to continue his form

Arsenal went full Arsenal until Hector Bellerin saved a draw with this half volley

We’re just going to post the score and say the FA Cup was canceled this season

Well that wasn’t very good and we’ve entered back into the banter era

To be fair, thats a really good name for pup.

Alex Iwobi produced a headline this week and it wasn’t for the play below

Arsene Wenger speaking about young Iwobi’s late night actions here

And finally today, another man bites the dust here at Arsenal and under the Wenger regime. Goodbye Francis #Coqueout
