According to the Daily Mirror’s John Cross, Arsenal are finished in the transfer market.
Arsenal now finished in the market. No more major incomings.

It would seem that both Arsenal and Manchester City left things too late. Thomas Lemar won’t be coming to the Emirates, and with no replacements coming in, Alexis Sánchez will not be leaving.
BBC Sport’s David Ornstein confirms that Manchester City’s interest in the Chilean is finished and will not be resurrected.
As others report #MCFC Sanchez bid over. Conditional agreement reached £55m+£5m but #AFC needed replacement. Lemar said no so Sanchez stays

Man City have no plans to resurrect Sanchez move by offering player in exchange or more money for straight cash deal #MCFC #AFC #DeadlineDay

Of course deadline day is a crazy time, and the shenanigans are never truly over until the window officially closes (and even then they sometimes aren’t finished see e.g. Danny Welbeck to Arsenal). That said, Cross and Ornstein are among the more reliable when it comes to transfer talk, so I would be surprised to see anything major happen.
If Arsenal truly are done, what do you think of their business this transfer window?
