One of today’s fun plots is whether Alexis will go to Manchester City. From everything we’ve heard, that move may well be dependent on Arsenal signing Thomas Lemar from Monaco. Well, strap on the crash helmet and get ready to roll, because, firstly, Arsene’s on a field trip:

That little nugget of info was followed by this one:
Arsenal have offered £92m to sign Thomas Lemar from Monaco. [@SkySportsNews] #afc pic.twitter.com/HI4TySd9pj

Which, in turn, led to this:
I'm told that Monaco and Arsenal have agreed a fee for Lemar but that it's now down to the player to decide if he will go #AFC

So, if any or all of this is to be believed - and I definitely believe Wenger is in Paris, so I guess I’m mostly talking about the last two tweets - the ball marked ‘should I join Arsenal’ was served by Arsenal, returned by PSG and is now firmly in Thomas Lemar’s court, waiting for him to smash it back like oh god I don’t know the names of any tennis players does Roger Federer still play tennis
Anyway. More on this as it rolls on, but that’s what we know right now.
