Yesterday Arsenal rejected a £50 million offer from Manchester City for Alexis Sanchez, and it was widely believed that Arsenal wanted a player, namely Raheem Sterling, included in any deal for the Chilean.
And now reports are saying any deal will only include cash from Man City and Raheem Sterling, nor any other player will be involved in the deal.

After rejecting the original £50 million offer, Arsenal are looking for a deal in the £70 million range. Man City who are still confident they will sign Alexis are expected to sent in an improved offer soon.
It will be difficult to bring in a replacement for Alexis with the transfer window closing tomorrow if he were to be sold, but it looks more likely that Arsenal will sell him given the poor start to the season.
This deal could go either way right now, but for Arsenal’s sake let’s hope it moves quickly to increase their chances of bringing in other players to help reinforce the squad.
