I am a big fan of VAR. I am also keenly aware that context is important, and that the letter of the law and the spirit of the law are two separate things. VAR was used to send Kaka off, and in this instance it was wrong. That doesn’t mean VAR is bad; it means the humans need to always have a hand in things to get things as right as possible.
