The dog days of summer are upon us and besides our first signing finally getting his shirt number, I figured it was best to see what our favorite Gunners have been up during their downtime.
We’ll start with our two Gunners currently playing in Russia at the most pointless (It’s not worth it, Alexis) tournament known to FIFA. Please don’t get hurt (Alexis already did) and get some rest, you two.

Edit: Congratulations to Alexis for breaking the Chilean goal scoring record
Danny Welbeck has headed across the pond to the land of maple syrup, Canadian bacon and Drake’s feelings.

Alex Oxlade Chamberlain went off to England duty as our lone Arsenal representative and after surviving Gareth Southgate’s Royal Marines camp, he produced this lovely goal.

Give him a new contract, Arsene, please. Now off for some R&R for the Ox
Mr. Theo Waclott has been on a stag weekend and hit a Star Wars themed golf course
May the course be with you, Theo.
Mesut Özil went back back to Cali, Cali to relax and hopefully think about all the money Arsenal is going to throw his way to keep him in North London. He also participated in a shirt swap, that I’m not entirely sure could have happened ever in an official capacity for him, from USWNT team star and POY Tobin Heath. Lefties stick together.
Thanks for this nice gift, @TobinHeath . Wishing you all the best for your recovery. #thankful #midfielders #usa pic.twitter.com/p0AN90bLAA

The future of Arsenal and England’s backline, whether 3 or 4 man, Calum Chambers and Sir Bob Holding have been with the England u21 squad.

Nacho Monreal will report to the Spanish national team soon, but not before a couple siestas. Stay cool, Nacho, stay cool.

Speaking of lovable Spaniards, Hector Bellerin is a really good guy on and off the pitch. We love him for this and not his barber, remember that Gooners.
1⁄2 of Ramxhaka is already married and the other 1⁄2 of the partnership decided after a year in London, the time was now. Congratulations, Granit. Word is, the missus gave him a red card (I’ll see my myself out now)
And what might be our last ever summer of Wilshere, the boy who grew up in front of us all, has tied to knot. This may be the most calm offseason Jack the Lad has had since the Vegas pool party pictures.
