Arsenal’s first and, so far, only signing of 2017 was done a few weeks ago, with Sead Kolasinac committing his next few years to the club. The left back arrived on a free and is expected to play a big part in Arsene Wenger’s plans this coming season.

You can’t do that without a shirt number, though!

For those of you without access to or desire for Twitter, young Mr. Kolasinac has decided to wear the number 31, no doubt in honor of the number of days in May. Or of the number of flavors at Baskin Robbins. Or that it’s a prime number. Or maybe he’s just a big fan of gallium?

Anyway, Kolasinac is all official now, and you can buy his swag here should you so desire.
