Arsenal reveal 2017-18 home shirt

It’s red and white, as you would expect

Arsenal have revealed their new home kit for the 2017-18 season this morning, the fourth such kit since PUMA took over kit manufacturing after the 2013-14 season. The shirt is red with white sleeves and a red collar, without the darker red stripe that went down the middle this past season. In short, it is an Arsenal shirt. There’s a cannon the back, under the collar, to celebrate 50 years of cannons being on the Arsenal shirt, and miniature Arsenal crests feature down the sides of the sleeves.

The shorts are white, and the socks are white with red at the top—perhaps the only downside of the new kit is losing the solid red socks of last season. But overall, it is probably the best home shirt Puma have done for the club, without the clunky red stripe of last season, or the overly white of the shoulders of past shirts.
