Following Monday’s bombing at a concert in Manchester and the UK terror threat level increasing to its highest possible status level yesterday by British Prime Minister Theresa May, both Arsenal and Chelsea have cancelled post-FA Cup victory parades, as well as Arsenal cancelling a screening inside Emirates Stadium, in order to continue to free up as many police and government resources as possible.

The cancellations come following the deployment of troops to protected sites in and around London, as well as the rest of the country, to help boost current police support and normal daily operations.

There is also expected to be increased security at both Wembley as well as at Twickenham, where the Aviva Premiership Final is kicking off a couple hours before the FA Cup Final, but both events on Saturday and the playoffs for League Two and the Championship on May 28th and 29th that are taking place at Wembley are expected to go on as scheduled.
