Tryin’ to book a ticket (back) to Wembley

The Emirates FA Cup Semi-Finals
such drama

Hooray hooray, it’s semi final day! Arsenal head to Wembley to take on Manchester City to earn the right to, uh, go back to Wembley in a month. It was more fun when the semis were at other neutral venues, preserving the awesomeness of Wembley for the final, but Wembley’s got bills to pay, so that’s where the semi finals are held now. Progress!

Anyhoo, Arsenal come into today with a whole new formation and, one hopes, outlook on life than they’ve had for the last couple months. Whether both of those things appear at kickoff is an open question - Arsene, as usual, is being very quiet about his strategy so we’re not sure if he’ll deploy a back three again or head back to a more traditional four man defensive line.

Either way, it’s a semi final and I’m really excited about it. It’s nice to have something good to look forward to.
