Arsenal 1-5 Bayern: wow

Arsenal crashed out of the Champions League in spectacular embarrassing fashion today, losing to Bayern Munich 5-1 again and thus 10-2 on aggregate. Kos got sent off, Arsenal held their own for a bit, then they didn’t.

I honestly don’t have a whole lot to say here; I wanted to see Arsenal put up a fight, and what I saw was whatever the opposite of that is. So their CL adventure is over for another season, and honestly, that’s fine.

This team is a hot mess right now, and while there was not a whole lot of chance of Arsenal overturning the 5-1 from two weeks ago, to go out like this - even down a man - should make every Arsenal player, and Arsene Wenger, think very seriously about their futures, because honestly, this was an embarrassment.
