In Conclusion... All the Breaking News Banners

That’s it from us! We’ve exhausted our cache of articles, our creativity, and some might say our credibility. But we pulled off another (hopefully) hilarious takeover of The Short Fuse.

I want to take this opportunity to thank the staff of The Short Fuse, especially pdb whose crazy idea this was in the first place. Somehow he agreed to hand over the keys to a bunch of crazy Sp*rs, and that’s something that’s not easy to do.

I also want to thank the TSF readers, who took all of this with good humor and grace (or, if not, had the foresight to disappear for a day). Rivalries are fun, but they’re also dumb. Thanks for letting us poke the bear for a day.

But in all seriousness, today was the result of a great charity challenge that raised over $6,500 for good causes, and that’s reason for all of us to celebrate. We’ll end our takeover the same way we did last year: with a collection of the “Breaking News” banners that went up over the course of the day.
