After losing their own Big Sexy to Atlanta in the winter, New York franchises could see a return of Big Sexy, with Olivier Giroud contemplating moving to China or MLS in a year or two, according to Le 10 Sport.
Giroud recently signed a new contract, tying him down until 2020, but it would not be surprising to see him leave before his contract is up, as he turns 31 in September. Furthermore, it would be Arsenal’s last chance to cash in on the Frenchman, who, one would imagine, will be an Arsenal centurion by the time he leaves, as he is only 7 goals shy of 100 for the club.
Until then, there should be ample opportunity for me to build my Bartolo Colon and Olivier Giroud tie-ins, especially if Colon himself returns to the Mets in the summer, as every single Met fan knows he will (packaged in a trade with Kelly Jonhson).
