Hello it’s ADBinDC, filling in for a few of the upcoming days. Since American football is now officially over, I decided to make a (virtual) trip around the world and take a look at some of the most interesting news in the world’s top football leagues. There were a few fights and a few fantastic goals.
England:
Harry Kane was pulling for New England in the Super Bowl, giving many Arsenal fans another reason to dislike Spurs. West Ham, on the other hand, favored Mohamed Sanu and the Atlanta Falcons.
France:
There was a mild brawl at the end of a Ligue 1 contest between Saint-Etienne and Olympique Lyonnais.
Spain:
A goalkeeper in Spain’s third decision decided to pull a Tim Howard.

Germany:
There is a budding rivalry between BVB and RB Lepzig. There was some violence between opposing fans.
US National Julian Green scored his first goal for VfB Stuttgart.
Italy:
Internazionale’s Icardi was in a fracas with an official and has received a two match suspension.
Scotland:
In a 5-2 thrashing of St. Johnstone, Celtic scored a beautiful goal off of a rabona.
Pure, beautiful, inventive football.

United States:
Recently, expansion has been a hot topic in the MLS. Of the twelve teams bidding, Charlotte’s bid may be the most scrutinized.
