Following a leak of Arsenal’s 2017/18 home kit, naturally the away and third kit are next. I am a lover of kits, but I also love having an identity. Red shirts with white sleeves is identified as The Arsenal at all times, so when Puma try something new for what won’t be worn at the Emirates, I’m ok with it. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, regardless they will only be around for one season, maybe two.

I originally thought this was more of training shirt to be honest. I think the inspiration must have come from these away kits from 02/03. According to Footy Headlines, this blue shirt will be worn with navy shorts and socks.

Striking is right. Dark London nights with bright London lights! When I first saw this, I assumed it was meant for Petr Cech and hopefully a certain Polish prankster next season. Instead, the likes of Bellerin, Xhaka and Giroud will be wearing this classy black/grey/pink combo. I imagine we’ll see similar color shorts and socks, possibly pink socks on occasion. Sign me up for one black long sleeve, please.
