Because soccer isn’t just about soccer any more, we all get to be armchair GM’s, armchair coaches, and armchair analysts. Most of which I ignore, but for some reason, I loves me a good kit leak. After a spell of restraint in the early to mid 00’s Teams have abandoned all pretense of keeping a look for more than a season now - every year, at least one kit changes, because money.
And that’s fine! I mean, there’s all sorts of reasons to update one’s style. I mean, Arsenal once did this. But overall, Arsenal, with its red body and white sleeves, stays at least reasonably close to tradition with most of their kit designs, and I like that about them.
Today, this came across the twitter machine:
Traditional. Arsenal 17-18 Home kit leaked: https://t.co/gG5QvrrDEK

For those of you not up on the kit leak game, Footy Headlines is almost always spot on when it comes to leaks. I’m not sure how; they may have moles inside CTU all the apparel companies, the companies themselves may leak these strategically, I have no idea. What I do know, though, is if it comes from FH, it’s almost always right.
And if that’s the case, these are amazing.
The red’s not full redcurrant, but it’s darker than normal. The lines are nice and clean, and I will always love a shirt with a collar - and this collar isn’t super obtrusive. Overall, I love it. SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY ARSENAL.
