Arsenal will look to bounce back from last week’s defeat to Manchester United when they head to St. Mary’s Stadium to face Southampton in an early Sunday morning matchup. While this fixture has caused trouble for the Gunners in recent years, this may be as good a time as any to face Southampton - the Saints have just one win in their last six matches. Southampton currently sits in 12th place in the Premier League with 17 points. Arsenal meanwhile, have a chance to make up ground on at least a few of their top four rivals, thanks to Chelsea’s loss yesterday and the Manchester derby later today.

The only change from Arsenal’s previous Premier League match comes in defense, where captain Per Mertesacker replaces Shkodran Mustafi, who is still recovering from the groin injury he suffered last weekend.
