Oh hooray, another midweek game. Just what Arsenal need as they launch into the, uh, “festive period” where games are basically scheduled every four hours or so, like blockbuster movies. Maybe I’m exaggerating, but it sure feels that way.
Anyway, if there ever were a good time for this fixture congestion, it’s now - Arsenal are on somewhat of a roll, taking four wins from their last five league games. I’m not sure “momentum” is actually a thing, but Arsenal are playing well right now and continuing to play well is certainly easier when you’re playing often.
Arsenal have a pretty full squad for this match, and Huddersfield have scored three goals away from home all season, so hopefully Arsenal can do their business with a minimum of fuss.
