Sead Kolasinac limped off in the Swansea game with what turned out to be a hip problem of unknown severity. It turns out that as of today, it’s not as severe as we may have feared, sayeth the boss:
"He'll have a test at the end of the week. He's not ruled out of Sunday's game yet," Wenger said. "But of course he's not involved tomorrow. But it's not as bad as we could fear at the start."
It’s no surprise that he won’t play tomorrow - the Europa League so far has rarely featured many first team players, so even if he were fit it might be the case that he be rested for Sunday’s match against league leaders Manchester City.
City’s already nine points ahead of Arsenal, and five ahead of second-placed Manchester United, so any opportunity to deny them points should be grabbed with both hands and never let go. Kolasinac has been a beast this season so far and having him in the starting XI would be a huge boost in that quest.
