Tuesday cannon fodder: secret peer pressure callups

MLS: New York City FC at Colorado Rapids Isaiah J. Downing-USA TODAY Sports

In addition to the links, I have a question today. Today marks the start of the baseball playoffs, which means I can watch enjoyable baseball again for a month, after watching the Mariners Mariner their way through yet another season. Are you a baseball fan? Who catches your eye in these playoffs?

I don’t watch a ton of National League ball, but I loves me some Paul Goldschmidt so I’d be OK with the D’Backs making some noise, although the Dodgers are kind of a juggernaut. On the AL side I think I’m in for the Twins. Could be a short relationship, but still.

If you’re not a baseball fan, what fun things are you looking forward to in October?
