When:
Saturday, January 7, 2017
9:30 AM PT/12:30 PM ET/5:30 PM BT
Where:
Deepdale, Preston
Importance:
The FA Cup is dope, and if you lose you don’t get to be in it anymore so we shouldn’t do that. Also, as I and we have said a bunch of times, this is a matchup of the two English teams that have gone unbeaten in a league season, and winning that would be cool.
Player News:
Francis Coquelin’s hamstring keeps him out. Theo Walcott and Kieran Gibbs are still short, Mesut Özil isn’t un-sick enough to play yet, and a number of players including Alexis Sanchez are to be rested. Lucas Perez also has evidently picked up an ankle injury, but Danny Welbeck should (finally) be healthy enough to come off the bench, so that’s mitigated a bit.
How to watch:
In the US, FS1 and Sox Sports Go. Everywhere else, check out livesoccer.tv.
