The season just started, and Arsenal players are already starting to win trophies. This time, it’s Laurent Koscielny who, despite being rested for the first game of an already short month, did enough to win the, well, let’s go ahead and call it coveted I guess Vitality Player Of The Month award, as voted by Arsenal fans.
Kos has been immense since his return from his international break, and has lent an air of stability to a back line that derped its way to conceding four goals in that opening day game against Liverpool without him. Once he and Rob Holding, who finished second in the voting, settle into a regular partnership, Arsenal’s defense should stop giving up those derpy goals and start being one of the tightest in England, and I can’t wait.
