James Corden Arsene Wenger gave his report on the state of the squad today, prior to the Champions League matchup with FC Basel tomorrow.
As we reported earlier, Francis Coquelin’s injury isn’t as severe as once feared; he’ll be out a couple weeks and not indefinitely. Earlier reports said two weeks, Wenger said three in this press conference; look for Coquelin to return in January.
Olivier Giroud, of course, is suspended after he picked up two yellow cards last time out. He’s also carrying a small injury that leaves him a doubt for Sunday, but we’ll worry about that after tomorrow.
Other than that, all seems status quo for Basel, which is good news.
