As we mentioned yesterday, Jack Wilshere asked Arsenal about the possibility of a loan spell this year in order to get more regular playing time, and in order to get back in the good graces of the England team.
Well, ask and ye shall receive, apparently: there are a couple teams kicking the tires on Jack today, including Roma and, more intriguingly, Crystal Palace:
Crystal Palace enter frame to sign Jack Wilshere on season-long loan as he looks to stay in Premier League https://t.co/jEVnK4jAGf— John Cross (@johncrossmirror) August 30, 2016
I’m honestly not sure which one would be better for his career, but I like the idea of him going to Palace, because, well, we’d be able to watch more of him at that point, plus I think Alan Pardew and Wilsh would make a great buddy comedy, if nothing else.
Either way, something will go down in the next few hours - as a reminder, the transfer window closes at 11.30PM BT tomorrow (3.30PM PT/6.30PM ET). So, as with everything else this transfer window summer, watch this space.
