The rumors about Gonzalo Higuain just keep churning around. Today’s latest comes from something called Radio Kiss Kiss, which is described as the “official club radio” of Napoli, and is part of the Gazetta dello Sport network. In that latest, they say that “Arsenal will be the next team of the former Real Madrid player”, and that Giroud will be included in the deal, which could add up to €50 million.
But.
Later in the piece, it turns out that this claim was made by an employee of the radio station, and there are several interpretations of what that employee, Francesco Marciano, actually said. It does appear that Higuain is leaving; this part isn't really in doubt. As with all things transfer-y, what’s in doubt is the destination and the parameters, and this article doesn’t really do much to clear up the mud.
The article also states that Arsenal are trying to sell Koscielny for €50 million (£42 million), so. There’s nothing really concrete about any of this; it’s just interesting that the “Giroud + cash = Higuain” thing doesn’t seem to be willing to die.
