Ben's still sunning himself on the shores of lovely oh wait no he's just busy with work. Anyway, I'm foddering again today, so off we go.

For those of you of the pixel manipulating persuasion,EA Sports' FIFA 17 will be released on September 29. Here's a video to help you GET HYPE.

The Copa America continues today, despite the president of Uruguay's federation calling it a mistake to hold the tournament in the US.

He'd better get used to the idea, though, as CONMEBOL and CONCACAF are close to an agreement to merge the Gold Cup, which nobody in the US cares about, with the Copa America, which slightly fewer nobodies in the US care about, into one quadrennial, US-hosted tournament.

Anyhoo, with the US team facing a must-win game against Costa Rica in Chicago, and their fellow Group A mates Colombia and David Ospina taking on Paraguay at the Rose Bowl. If the US don't win, their Copa is likely over - particularly if Paraguay beat Colombia, which would put Paraguay on 4 points and Colombia on 3. A point for the US isn't the worst result, but a win would make things a whole lot easier.
