Granit Xhaka isn't afraid for his next penalty

Despite his miss forcing Switzerland out of Euros 2016, the midfielder's not backing down.

Granit Xhaka was the only Swiss player to miss his penalty as Switzerland fell to Poland in Euros 2016's round of 16, and boy howdy did he ever miss it. Despite the (over)reaction from certain people #online though, Xhaka says he's not fazed by the miss, which, again, was extremely bad.

Anyone who knows me knows that I will make sure I come back even stronger. I took the penalty the way I always do. But I didn’t connect properly with the ball. I am still a young person, only 23. This just makes me stronger. And I promise I will step up at the next penalty shootout.

This is basically the perfect reaction to something like this happening, aside from saying "haters is my fuel for motivation" like that weird kid I went to high school with did once. Now I'm looking forward to Xhaka Flocka Flame scoring the winning penalty in the Champions League final.

It's happening, damn it.
