In the end, Arsenal didn't have much to do and saw the Canaries off to go to third, two points behind Tottenham, who have a game in hand.
Well, that was OK. 1-0 to the Arsenal at home. Which is good. Up to 3rd and staying there thanks to a Man City loss. Which is better. Two points behind Tottenham, even. Wow. So why don't I feel better about it?

Not much to write home about in terms of our performance. Lots of the ball, not much incision. Playing with the handbrake on, to coin a phrase that’s never been used before. Then another handbrake on top just in case. And some chocks under the wheels. And so on.
Danny Welbeck’s well-worked goal proved the difference as Arsenal secured a hard-fought win over Norwich City at Emirates Stadium.
The victory will not placate the haters but keeps the mood in check for a week at least. For Norwich, the fear intensifies.
