Henry Winter's name came up quite a bit today as his thoughts on Arsenal, Arsene Wenger and the summer's transfers made the rounds like wildfire. In the middle of all the hot takes stood out a transfer rumor which could perk up some ears.

Well, that's interesting. As most who follow the league know by now, Kante is considered by many to be the backbone of Leicester's improbable run to the top of the table and likely league title this season. Largely unheralded coming into the season, his otherworldly work rate, defensive acumen and knack for the vital final pass has allegedly caught the attention of not only Arsenal but foreign powers such as PSG and Real Madrid leading to some calling him the new Claude Makelele.
Ultimately, does Winter's comment mean much? Well, without any concrete evidence, no. He said that Kante will probably come to Arsenal next year but there hasn't been much to back this train of thought other than speculation both from Winter and others. Kante could add something positive to this midfield, but one has to wonder if he fits Wenger's mold and if Leicester would be keen to sell to a potential rival for next year's top spot in the league.
