The bad news just keeps on rollin' in for Arsenal. As I'm sure I don't need to rehash, they lost 2-0 to a Barcelona team that Arsenal held in check for a good portion of the match, putting themselves in a really bad spot heading to the Camp Nou in a couple weeks. And now comes news that the match wasn't all they lost - after a bit of a break, the injury bug is back, and this time it bit Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
His run-in with Javier Mascherano resulted in him being subbed off, and he apparently left the Emirates with his leg wrapped up and on crutches. He went for one of those mysterious 'scans' (seriously, what are those? CAT scans? PET scans? Brain scans? Scan trons?), and while the jury's still out, he'll definitely miss Sunday's trip to Old Trafford and it is feared he'll miss a good chunk of the rest of the season.
