Mere days after playing a team of MLS All-Stars in San Jose, Arsenal will truck on down the 5 to Los Angeles (Seriously, Arsene. Take the 101. So much prettier!) to take on Mexican side Chivas de Guadalajara at the StubHub Center in beautiful downtown Carson, CA on Sunday, July 31. Chivas are currently 14th in the LigaMX table, but are one of Mexico's most prestigious clubs; they are also one of the only clubs in any nation to have a policy of only employing players from that nation.
Chivas is also known, of course, for having an MLS side as well for several years, who shared the StubHub center with the LA Galaxy, until that club was mismanaged into extinction following the 2014 MLS season.
As with the All Star game, no word yet on ticket prices or availability, but of course, as soon as we know, we'll pass on the details.
