Now that the Champions League is on pause until January, it’s time to spend December focusing on the league. Stoke starts that off with a visit to the Emirates tomorrow.
When:
Saturday, December 10, 2016
7AM PT/10AM ET/3 PM BT
Where:
Emirates Stadium, London
Importance:
Still unbeaten in the league since Opening Day, and with a chance to go top tomorrow, even if only for a day, with a two goal win, Arsenal will want to do to Stoke what they did to Basel midweek. Stoke, meanwhile, are rounding into form - after a disastrous start to the season, they’ve only lost once in their last nine games. They do have a, to be generous, poor record away to Arsenal though, having not beaten Arsenal in London since 1981.
Player News:
Looks like Hector Bellerin might be available, pending a late fitness test, and Francis Coquelin returns from his European suspension.
Probable starters:
Cech; Koscielny, Monreal, Mustafi, Bellerin; Coquelin, Xhaka, Alexis, Özil, Walcott; Giroud
How to watch:
