Arsenal has gotten some good news on the injury front, as Héctor Bellerín tweeted today that he is back in training, though it is not yet clear when he could return to match duty.
The Gunners’ right back situation has been pretty dire recently. Mathieu Debuchy is also injured, leaving Arsenal with Gabriel and the confidence-challenged Carl Jenkinson as the main options at the position, and neither of them are, well, good. And Bellerín, for his part, was in great form before getting injured.
In other injury news, photos from David Price indicate that Per Mertesacker is also back in training after missing all of the season so far with a knee injury.
However, Shkodran Mustafi has been a fantastic addition to the Arsenal backline-the club still has not lost a match in which Mustafi has started-so it is hard to envision Mertesacker back in the starting lineup anyway. Still, it’s great to see the BFG and often-time captain back in training.
