Julian Draxler still wants out, still isn’t sure where he’s going

He hasn’t found the phone number for the manager of Not Wolfsburg, it appears.

Julian Draxler still wants to leave Wolfsburg as soon as possible, and Generalissimo Francisco Franco is still dead. The perpetually rumored Arsenal target is also in the crosshairs of Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool, according to the Independent, and he’s had his bags packed for weeks but he claims he’s waiting for the best possible situation.

Draxler spoke to Bild, and had this to say:

I am in talks with a couple of clubs, but so far no decision has been made. We will all sit down and make a sensible decision that is suitable for us.

Draxler’s only had two assists this year with no goals to back them up, which might explain why there hasn’t been much concrete interest in the German international aside from the PSG links (which seem far, far stronger than anything else right now).

Sky Sports says PSG has an agreement done for Draxler, which would pay out between £38 million and £41 million depending on appearances. That seems like a lot for a player who hasn’t really lived up to the hype of late, but as we all know, form is temporary so if the class is there, he may end up to be a worthwhile acquisition. It’s looking more and more likely that he won’t be under the purview of Arsenal fans either way, though, so there you go.
