Sound the alarm! Tottenham Hotspurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that his star striker Harry Kane will be in the spurs’ squad against Arsenal this Sunday, as was hinted at earlier in the week.
Pochettino would not say whether or not Kane will start in the north London derby, saying only that he had a very good training session on Thursday and “he’s fit.”
A fit Harry Kane would provide a big boost for a Spurs team that has hit a dip in form recently, not having won a match since their victory against Manchester City in early October.
And Kane has had recent success against Arsenal, having scored in his last two matches against the Gunners.
In other Tottenham injury news, Pochettino said that defender Toby Alderweireld is still recovering from his injury and will miss the match. Mousa Dembele and Erik Lamela are also said to be “major doubts” for the match.
