Some good news for Arsenal on the injury front, as first choice right back Héctor Bellerín told the Mirror that his recovery from an ankle injury is going better than expected.
"It is a hard injury to recover from and a bit painful. But I am going to try to be running from this week and hopefully I’ll be back on the pitch in less than four weeks.”
If Bellerín can make it back soon that would be a huge boost for Arsenal, as the Gunners are currently pretty thin in the right back department. Mathieu Debuchy was injured in this past weekend’s match against Bournemouth, and Carl Jenkinson hasn’t exactly impressed in his few appearances in the role.
Bellerín, meanwhile, was enjoying a fine start to the season before his injury, and just recently signed a new contract extension with the club. Hopefully we can see him darting up and down the pitch again soon.
