One is slightly more important than the other

Theo Walcott has been having a pretty good time recently. He scored a goal in Arsenal’s win over Bournemouth yesterday, his ninth for the Gunners so far this season.

That goal capped off what was a pretty eventful weekend for Walcott, as his wife, Mel, had given birth to the couple’s second child, a boy named Arlo, on Friday.

“It was fantastic and very special; it’s all about the family and it was fantastic for me, Mel and all of the family,” said Walcott, according to The Telegraph. “I’m probably the happiest person in the world now and, with the team back to winning ways, it’s the perfect weekend.”

Real talk though, children are overrated. The really important news is that Walcott is now one goal away from getting himself a new coffee maker.

“[Mel] said ‘if you get ten goals before Christmas I’ll buy you this coffee machine’,” he said. “So I can’t wait for that and hopefully it will happen.”

I can’t blame Theo for being excited about a new coffee machine. Coffee is a miracle drink. And with two young children in the house, he’s going to need A LOT of caffeine.
