Ramsey says Arsenal confident ahead of Spurs match

Newly returned Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey recently said the Gunners have plenty of confidence heading into this weekend’s home match against Tottenham Hotspur, which according to every motivational poster I’ve ever seen means the squad has all it needs for a crucial victory in the north London derby.

Granted, the Gunners have plenty of reason to be confident, as they have been on a terrific run of form recently that has them atop the Premier League table, and just secured a spot in the Champions League knockout round stages.

Ramsey said, “We’ve been on a great run lately so, to keep that ticking over, it puts us in a good position going into the derby game. Tottenham have been a tough challenge in the last couple of seasons, they’re unbeaten in the league so far this season, but we know what to expect. It’s up to us to break them down. We’re at home and we’re full of confidence we can come away with a win.”
