A couple of Arsenal players saw some playing time in international duty this week, according to a report from The Daily Cannon.

First, goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny made an appearance for Poland during their friendly against Slovenia. Woj came on in the second half in what ended up a 1-1 draw. The Daily Cannon notes that Woj has not been the first choice for Poland since the start of the Euros.

Rob Holding, meanwhile, played 82 minutes for the England U21 squad in a 3-1 loss to France. Calum Chambers was an unused substitute in the match. It was a disappointing loss for the squad, but the coach noted they should be able to learn from it and move on to the U21 European championships.

Holding is currently a member of the Arsenal squad after his transfer this past summer. Woj, meanwhile, is currently in the midst of another loan spell at Roma.
