Some of these are... interesting, but at least we’re seeing more Arsenal players break into this totally arbitrary list! Woo hoo, Shkodran Mustafi, as well as Santi Cazorla and Laurent Koscielny. Can we talk about the fact that Alexis isn’t on this list when those other guys are? Doesn’t really make sense to me, but whatever! Enjoy.

The football structure in England has always been based on promotion and relegation rather than a closed system – but women’s football is adopting methods that have never been used (or welcomed) here before, with teams no longer guaranteed a place in a division based on their on-pitch success.
