After a nice easy win at the weekend in which nobody got hurt, Arsenal get on Arsenal Force One or whatever to take on Ludogorets in the Champions League. They’re off to an excellent start in the CL as well, level on points with PSG but ahead on goal difference thanks to the 6-0 tonking they gave Ludogorets the last time around.
When:
Tuesday, November 1, 2016
12.45PM PT/3.45PM ET/7.45 PM BT (NOTE: this is an hour later than normal in the US, because England went off summer time over the weekend)
Where:
Ludogorets Arena, Razgrad, Bulgaria
Importance:
As noted, Arsenal are joint first, and have a chance to pad their goal difference, which will be important as it can probably be assumed that PSG will beat Basel tomorrow, keeping Arsenal and PSG level on points as long as Arsenal do their job. So, Arsenal, do your job.
Key Players:
Everyone came through unscathed at the weekend; Theo Walcott is nursing a hamstring problem and may not feature, but otherwise Arsene has a full quiver of arrows from which to choose; surprisingly, he may rotate a bit with one eye on Tottenham at the weekend.
Probable starters:
Ospina, Jenkinson, Mustafi, Koscielny, Gibbs, Elneny, Xhaka, Ozil, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Iwobi, Giroud
How to watch:
In the US: Fox Sports 2 on the teevee, and FoxSoccer2Go or Fox Sports Go online.
