In what seems like the first away game in a long time, Arsenal head up north to Sunderland to take on the...checks table....oh dear, the last-placed Mackems. Sunderland have a grand total of two points from nine games, in which they’ve scored six goals. And conceded 16.
When:
Saturday, October 29, 2016
4.30AM PT/7.30 AM ET/12.30PM PT
Where:
Stadium of Light, Sunderland
Importance:
Arsenal will want to show that their struggles against Middlesbrough were a fluke, and there’s no better way to show that than by handing the last placed team in the league their heads on a platter, right? With City playing West Brom and Liverpool playing Crystal Palace, this weekend, like last weekend, is a chance for Arsenal to pick up points against rivals who have potentially trickier fixtures.
Key Players:
Santi Cazorla is still doubtful, but Olivier Giroud should play some sort of role; it’s still too soon for Aaron Ramsey, though, while he’s in training he’s not quite ready to go yet.
Probable starters:
It’ll probably be Coqneny if Cazorla can’t go; if he can, I assume Coqzorla will be the combo.
